马来西亚自然之友呼吁亚洲资源（马）有限公司（ResourceCo Asia）即刻将准备为拉法基股份有限公司（Lafarge）制造燃料而进口的固体废物运回澳洲。 一位有责任心的公众首先将此事件通知自然之友，揭露这家位于霹雳怡保花园工业区的公司，将固体废物申报为固体燃料。他们企图偷龙转凤的原因，是我国严禁危险性废物和其他回收废物进口。 根据亚洲资源主页所示，这家公司是在2010年10月在大马注册，接着在2011年5月承诺为拉法基马供应燃料。其手法与澳洲加工工程燃料（PEF）同出一轍。它指出，怡保的工厂设施每年可生产5万吨PEF。所生产的燃料，是用来共烧拉法基马位于拱桥和万扰的洋灰窑。 自然之友已经向环境局与关税局跟进有关事件。环境局回信向自然之友指出，根据巴塞尔公约第9条对控制危险废物越境及其处置的规定，这些废物必须运回澳洲。 根据巴塞尔公约第9条，危险废物越境与其处理，若出现以下情况，即为非法入境： ·没有依照该公约的规定，通知所有相关国家； ·没有获得相关国家许可； ·通过伪造、伪报或欺诈手段获得同意； ·运输路径与文件所列实质不符； ·在运输时出现蓄意处置危险废物和其他废物，并违反了公约一般原则和国际法。 由于截止10月初有关废物仍存放在工厂，因此自然之友继续以行动抗议和呼吁亚洲资源即刻将废物运回。我们也呼吁环境局和相关部门，对该公司进行非法运输固体废物、伪造进口文件和违抗环境局指示撤回固体废物到澳洲，采取严厉行动。 马来西亚不是垃圾场，请将废物撤回澳洲。 大马自然之友主席莫哈末依里斯局绅
